The Civil Worker's Union is the main employment institution in the Cities of the Universal Union. It is only run by a few permanent staff. The vast majoriy of employees are Citizens who work in order to gain rewards from the CCA, and possible Loyalist Status. Most of the employees dress in the standard Citizen Uniform, aswell as a white armband.

The work is often back-breaking labour, such as sweeping streets, washing windows and wiping down billboards. However, the more you work, you will be given the choices of easier tasks, such as running the CWU Office and occasionaly assisting the UU or CCA.

But what is the point in all this? Well, working so willingly for the Universal Union goes down very well with the CCA. You may find yourself being granted extra rations, proper food, Loyalist Status, request devices and maybe one day you can become a member of the Universal Union, one day maybe a City Administrator or Union Executive. The possibilites are endless.
